QIAGEN NV (New York Stock Exchange code:QGEN) (Frankfurt Prime Standard: QIA) and Verogen Inc. today announced a partnership to provide laboratories with excellent tools and comprehensive support to implement next-generation sequencing (NGS) human identification workflows.
The cooperation with QIAGEN is a milestone-driven distribution and development agreement that grants QIAGEN the right to distribute current and future Verogen products worldwide. Verogen and QIAGEN will also collaborate to use QIAGEN’s sample preparation automation to commercialize Verogen’s forensic verification NGS workflow, providing human identification laboratories with a complete sample-to-ID solution.
