Ottawa, Ontario, June 24, 2021 /CNW/-On June 24, 2021After months of investigations conducted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Anti-Corruption Department, two members of the department Ottawa The police and two others were charged.
After the investigation started Ottawa The police asked the RCMP to assist in investigating possible dishonesty. Further investigation revealed evidence of criminal offences believed to be committed by the four defendants.
The RCMP accused the following persons:
Heydar Badri (29) of Ottawa, Ontario (police officer, Ottawa Police):
- Violating the trust of public officials criminal law;
- Obstruction of justice criminal law; with
- Cause someone to deal with forged documents, violating criminal law.
Muhammad Muhammad (45) of Ottawa, Ontario (police officer, Ottawa Police):
- Obstruction of justice criminal law.
