Officer Flint burst into tears after spotting a 19-year-old woman who first shot her to death

Over the weekend, a tearful video of police officer Flint shooting and crashing a car was widely circulated on social media. Officials subsequently announced that the driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital and was subsequently declared dead.

according to ABC 12-WJRTInvestigators determined that the 19-year-old woman who was shot was Briana Sykes of Flint. Michigan State Police claimed that she allegedly drove to a police officer directing traffic during the June Festival parade in the city and shot the police officer. The unidentified officer fired back, hitting Brianna.

Witnesses at the scene said that after the police officer fired back, he burst into tears after the shooting. The police officer was not injured, nor were witnesses to the shooting.

One of the witnesses told reporters news media“I saw a police officer ten feet to my left. He was standing in front of a car with a gun. I didn’t see if anyone shot from the car, but I did see the police officer shooting into the car. , I can tell from his expression that he caused a fatal injury to someone. He immediately fell to the ground and wept because I felt he didn’t want to do anything he had to do.”

The shooting occurred after 2:00 pm on Saturday (June 19), a few blocks from the parade. Brianna was taken to Hurley Medical Center for treatment, but later died of injuries.

Michigan State Police is currently investigating the shooting. The report will be sent to the Genesee County Attorney’s Office, which will decide whether to bring any criminal charges against the shooting.
